Welcome to AMCR Kindergarten
I wish to take this opportunity to welcome you to the AMCR Kindergarten section of the school, which is dedicated to the development of students through the foundation stage of their learning.
We recognise that the transition to schooling can be a difficult time for children and their parents alike, as it is possibly the first time that the child has been removed from the care of their guardians. We provide an environment which is appealing to young children, safe and conducive to their level of understanding, with highly experienced and caring teachers who recognise the importance of these ‘first steps’ into education. We believe in strong communication and collaboration with our parents, to ensure that your child feels that you still remain very much a part of their development and education.
We take a very modern approach to ‘early years’ education and utilise the latest technology to ensure that your child gets absorbed into learning through fun activities, interaction, collaboration and communication. All of our teachers have a genuine passion for the education of young children, and all go through compulsory professional training to ensure that they remain up to date with changes to approaches in education. Our Nursery environment opens the door to learning English through constant interactions with English speakers, providing the child with an inner voice in this language, evading the need to translate between languages. This carries on through Kindergarten where they will continue to gather language acquisition through a natural communicative approach and story-telling, plus a proven phonetic approach to reading, writing and comprehension which sets the foundation for their future analytical skills. Along with this, special attention will be given to motor skill development, social skills, sharing and caring with others.
We invite you to come and view our child orientated learning environment, be a part of our family and grow to the future with us together.
Kindest Regards,
